Donald Trump certainly knows how to make an entrance, but on the first day of his hush money criminal trial, the former President was forced to share center stage with another rather more glamorous attendee: his deputy communications chief Margo Martin.
Margo, 28, who shares a striking resemblance to the former President's wife, Melania Trump, oozed confidence as she entered the courtroom alongside Trump, opting for a chic black pantsuit and leaving her long ombre locks in beach-like waves around her face.
The communications guru kept a straight face as she made her way inside the courtroom, where she watched on as more than 50 of the 96 potential jurors in the trial were excused after admitting that they couldn't be impartial in the case, which marks the first time a former President has faced criminal trial.
But while she also drew the spotlight in the courtroom, elsewhere, Margo has already become a star in her own right, gaining tens of thousands of followers online for flaunting the many lavish perks that come with working with a prominent political figure.
She was first propelled into the spotlight last year, after a reporter actually mistook her for Melania, 53, as she entered the United States Courthouse in Miami for Trump's arraignment in a separate case.

At the time, Fox News anchor John Roberts showed a clip of her walking into the government building on air, telling viewers before hand, 'We have some video that we want to play out here, Melania Trump entering the courthouse just a short time ago.'
A chyron at the bottom of the video said 'Melania Trump arrives at Miami court.'
However, DailyMail.com had reported earlier that Melania was in New York at the time, where she was spotted exiting Trump Tower and heading to John Frieda's hair salon.
A little while later, John announced on air that he had made a mistake, confessing, 'Apparently that was not Melania.'
He continued: 'A day like today with so many comings and goings, it's easy from a distance to mistake two people.'
Almost instantly afterwards, the world was a buzz with speculation about the identity of Melania's doppelganger.
Her latest appearance at the first day of his trial, which saw the former President being at one point being accused of falling asleep before tearing into a judge for warning he may have to skip his son Barron's high school graduation, will no doubt help to cement her status as one of the most glamorous faces in US politics.
But what of Margo's life away from D.C. and her glitzy rise to the top of the Trump food chain?
Margo, an Oklahoma native, previously served as the Deputy Director of Communications for Trump's Save America PAC, which was used mainly to send emails to supporters and organize his continued rallies across the country.
